Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!!  I took a break (just for now) from the Awakenings series.  But not to fear, as promised, I will be back this SUNDAY December 2,2012 with part one of a two-parter called Another Man's Treasure, Part 1!  Check it out below:

In a sleepy town during the 1950s, everyone always kept to themselves when ever new renters came to live at 435 Eucalyptus Lane. The arrival of husband-less Daisy Wilson caused some alarm but was no different. Except for the day she decided to dress in men's overalls and mount her ladder to paint her own house, lavender.

Widow Frances Miller enjoyed the view Daisy afforded and sought to make a new friend, despite the stern looks and catty chatter about the new neighbor.

Will Daisy be the enduring light in Frances' otherwise racy existence with other closeted housewives in the 1950s or will she wind up being just another flash in the pan?

This is the first of two parts of Another Man's Treasure by lesbian erotica author, Lillian Bendover, and is 5100 words long.

“Hey Blondie! Nice to see you again!” The Red Head wore a black Kettle Corn dress, setting off the brassy tones of her red hair, her matching black peep-toe spike heels, crunching the dirt as she made her way.

“Are you gonna come out and greet me or do you plan on staying in the car all night?” Her smile settling Frances’ racing pulse as much as the slight scent of her Shalimar perfume.

“Awww - still shy?! Don’t worry Doll, you’re safe here.” The Red Head popped her head into the driver’s side window, landing her crushed-rose colored lips on Frances’ own finely done lips. The kiss sent shock waves through her numb body, causing her hands to sweat against the steering wheel. She felt like a school girl again. The Red Head pulled back and asked hopefully,

“Ready?!”

“Yes.”

Right?!  I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it.  Not to fear, the second part will be ready for release on Sunday, December 16,2012 and then it will be back to the Awakenings series!

After I am done with the Awakening series, I have a few one shot stories lined up and I hope to finish the second part of Sophie sometime by the beginning of the New Year.

Update and Other Things

Hey Guys!

Happy holidays and all that wonderful stuff!

I usually send out updates every two weeks to let you all know what's going on in terms of publishing material.  This Sunday should be that day but it's the holidays and I won't be making that deadline.  Sorry :(

I am aiming for next Sunday and I may possibly have a double release.  Here are the deets:

Her Seductive Affections: Awakenings, Part 5 is kinda on hold.  I'm not sure why but I've got a bit of writers' block with it.  I am hoping it works out by pub time.  I think I need to reign in the mayhem a bit (cause Shit Got Real®) or just go all out with it?  Not sure but I'll get off the fence and work it out for you guys real soon.

What has been taking my writing time is a short I'm working on called ...Another Man's Treasure, set in the 1950's (much like Daddy-Oh! ) and so far?  It is pretty saucy!   At this point, which ever one I get through first, will be what will make the pub deadline for next Sunday.  Being ever ambitious, I will try to get them both out.  But we shall see.

In AWESOME news, Sophie: Love Found got its FIRST review, making that my first review ever!  I am ridiculously excited about this!  I am taking the criticisms to the writing pad and will in all likelihood be making a Sophie, Part 2, probably in the next few weeks?  Lots of writing to do! whew!  But I LOVE it!

In the mean time, I hope you all go through my current offerings and make it a Black Monday for lesbian erotica by buying some (or all) of my ebooks.

I am working on Awakenings, Part 5 and just wanted to remind everyone that Her Opened Eyes, Awakenings, Part 1 is 99¢:

I'd like to get this series to the Top 100 on Amazon and I need your help!  Tell a friend or two, refer your lesbian reading group to my blog, retweet my tweets - if you have read the first part (or the series up until now) SPREAD the word!  I am finding so many other erotica titles up there and I think lesbian erotica needs to be represented too!  I write this not only for me but for you all!

I know there are at least TWO folks here who have held on with me till the fourth part of this series (I don't know you personally, Amazon doesn't give us that kind of information, but I would like to thank you :)  and I know there are many more who would enjoy this series and some of the other titles too.  Truth is, I am a One Woman operation - I do my own writing, editing, front covers and marketing and though I may not get it all right all the time, I do this because I love it and because I want lesbian romance/erotica to be represented by a woman(Moi) who knows it best - a real life lesbian!

So, short of showing up to your houses with a tutu and a hot pizza, word of mouth, spreading the word and community is what will get stories like the ones I write and those by other lesbian authors up there with the 50 Shades and Zanes.
