Hey Guys!

Generally I bring in the New Year with some bubbly or spirits but that won't be the case this year - not even a little bit of sparkling grape juice will touch these lips :)

But that's okay!  There have been so many good things to celebrate within this past year that I would rather just bring the New Year in with silence and probably some meditation.  Yeah - boring for most but I do meditate to help me get more centered and write better/more.  Smut can take a lot out of a girl ;)

What have I been thankful for in 2012?!

Starting my self-publishing career in May!

Meeting some A-MAZING people in this erotic literary world.

Helping some women in knowing that it's okay to be lesbian and to have sexual relations(hips).

Growing as a writer and an Author.

Making some modest means (and looking forward to making more in 2013!)

My Readers and supporters.

Being healthy.

Don't want to get all sappy on here but 2012 has been pretty awesome to me and I suspect 2013 will have many wonderful surprises in store!

Eve of Things

Wish I could say that was my tree but alas... I can wish :)  This is actually the 'tree' at my local mall and it always puts me in the Christmas spirit to see it.  I'm not really big on the holidays but seeing all the kids and all the festivities makes me feel a little more festive.

Its been a while since I have had some time off and I have to say - I am not sure what to do without writing!  I'll get back to it soon enough though, so don't you worry.

Sabbatical Tactics

Hey Guys!

First official day of this sabbatical and I decided I wanted to share what usually kept me going when I was busy writing for your guys:




Cinnamon Dolce Lattes are generally the fuel I use to keep me going.  It is simultaneously sweet, a little savory, nicely spiced and filling - so I can keep from stopping to actually eat a meal.

How do I like mine? Tall, decaf, soy, no whip.  That festive cup is also a nice touch.

What keeps you going when you're in your zone and need to refuel?!

“I really wasn’t kidding Fran.”  Daisy stood still, her back to the other woman.

In other news, I will be taking a bit of a sabbatical as I re-group before this new year comes at me.  There is much housekeeping to do and things to go through and organize.

Some things to look forward to will be :

Sophie: Love Found, Part 2 - YES!  I hope to get this done while on break.  I got called out on it in an Amazon review and I will be wrapping that one up. Originally it started out as a two parter and somehow managed to get away from me.  But I will wrestle it down and get it out to you guys early next year.

Awakenings continuation - While on sabbatical (is it REALLY a sabbatical if I will be writing?!), I will be working on finishing this series for you all.  I will also be working with a new Beta Reader.  She actually helped me with the second half of Another Man's Treasure.  I think this will help out a lot in terms of story continuity and helping to make me a better writer over all.

New One Shot Stories - I hope to have a lot more one-hitter-quitters next year.  Though I love the series, they take considerably more energy to crank out.  I am hoping with the OHQ's that I'll be able to give you guys a lot more content.

Misc. - I am also hoping to let you guys in on what I do when I am not updating/writing, etc...  I am a real person behind these pixels (I promise!) and I want to reach out to you all and connect.  So look for some of those fun/funny/interesting things that I do/come across.

So this will be it as far as publishing for 2012.  It has been an interesting year and I want to thank all those who show their love by visiting this blog, following me on Twitter and Liking me on Facebook but more importantly for buying my books!  You guys make what I do that much more awesome!

Happy Sunday - I hope that everyone is home, safe and doing well.  I actually wrote the part above early Friday and wanted to add this portion below:

I want to extend my condolences to all those who have been affected by the horrific incidents that occurred in CT on Friday.  My heart goes out to all the children as well as the parents/adults/care takers.  I wish I could un-see for them, all the horror that those Innocents saw that day.  My heart still hurts for them.

Update and Other Things

Hey Guys!

Happy holidays and all that wonderful stuff!

I usually send out updates every two weeks to let you all know what's going on in terms of publishing material.  This Sunday should be that day but it's the holidays and I won't be making that deadline.  Sorry :(

I am aiming for next Sunday and I may possibly have a double release.  Here are the deets:

Her Seductive Affections: Awakenings, Part 5 is kinda on hold.  I'm not sure why but I've got a bit of writers' block with it.  I am hoping it works out by pub time.  I think I need to reign in the mayhem a bit (cause Shit Got Real®) or just go all out with it?  Not sure but I'll get off the fence and work it out for you guys real soon.

What has been taking my writing time is a short I'm working on called ...Another Man's Treasure, set in the 1950's (much like Daddy-Oh! ) and so far?  It is pretty saucy!   At this point, which ever one I get through first, will be what will make the pub deadline for next Sunday.  Being ever ambitious, I will try to get them both out.  But we shall see.

In AWESOME news, Sophie: Love Found got its FIRST review, making that my first review ever!  I am ridiculously excited about this!  I am taking the criticisms to the writing pad and will in all likelihood be making a Sophie, Part 2, probably in the next few weeks?  Lots of writing to do! whew!  But I LOVE it!

In the mean time, I hope you all go through my current offerings and make it a Black Monday for lesbian erotica by buying some (or all) of my ebooks.

I'd like to get this series to the Top 100 on Amazon and I need your help!  Tell a friend or two, refer your lesbian reading group to my blog, retweet my tweets - if you have read the first part (or the series up until now) SPREAD the word!  I am finding so many other erotica titles up there and I think lesbian erotica needs to be represented too!  I write this not only for me but for you all!

I know there are at least TWO folks here who have held on with me till the fourth part of this series (I don't know you personally, Amazon doesn't give us that kind of information, but I would like to thank you :)  and I know there are many more who would enjoy this series and some of the other titles too.  Truth is, I am a One Woman operation - I do my own writing, editing, front covers and marketing and though I may not get it all right all the time, I do this because I love it and because I want lesbian romance/erotica to be represented by a woman(Moi) who knows it best - a real life lesbian!
